Getting your dogs Tyred out!

So we now have a new form of enrichment for the dogs to explore. Four dug into the ground, tracker tyres that the dogs can run through, sniff and climb on. Another fun addition to Mutt Meadow overall play experience.

"I'm concerned my dog won't mix well with the pack?"

"I'm concerned my dog won't mix well with the pack?" I often get this question from potential customers, which is great. A dogs welfare should always be paramount and it's nice to see dog owners understanding their dogs needs. Prior to taking on a new customers dog. contact is usually made by the owner to me via email or telephone. During this contact I like to have a conversation about what is it the customer wants from the service (dog exercised, dog to socilaise more etc) and some information on their dog, (breed, age, castrated, friendly etc). If suitable after this I like to meet the customer at their home so I can meet them and their dog in person. Here i also carry out a pre-consultat

Huntingdon Hounds meet Mutt Meadow

My usual routine of Dog Pack Playtime took a lovely different direction today. I picked up my customers dogs and drove them to Mutt Meadow like normal to have a good run around and pay. However today I had a arranged with a fairly new customer of mine who lives in Huntingdon, to bring her 3 gorgeous dogs to Mutt Meadow. When she arrived at 11am, she parked her car outside the gate and after greeting her we got her dogs into the paddock, where the whole pack her calmly introduced. She let them off the lead so they could all run around and play. And they Did! Me and my customer both supervised the dogs, threw balls, frisbees and toys for the dogs whilst having a good chat while walking round t

Dogs Dig it!

So pleased to announce we now have more fun play toys and equipment for your dogs at Mutt Meadow. Not only do we already have: Trees, shrubs, plants, flowers Secure fencing Buckets of soft toys, frizbees, balls, ropes etc Fresh tap water with water bowls Dog poo bin Heavy duty plastic tubes A straw mound An old stables for shelter Agility equipmet such as a stand, hoop, steps and poles But we also now have a: Sandpit surrounded by straw bales Coloured tyre steps Mini tyre pile A long plastic tunnel And chairs for customers who want to stay a while And we will also soon be getting a Portaloo. Great for those customers who want to bring their dog to me at the field.
